Former England midfielder Jo Potter is expected to leave her role as head coach of Rangers’ Scottish Women’s Premier League side.
It is believed Rangers will receive compensation from an as yet unnamed club for the 40-year-old.
Potter moved to the Glasgow club two years ago and won a domestic cup double in both seasons.
But Rangers missed out on the SWPL title on the final day of each campaign.
Having retired from playing in 2021, Rangers were Potter’s first foray into management.
She was capped 35 times and played for Chesterfield, Sheffield Wednesday, Birmingham City, Arsenal, Charlton Athletic, Everton, Leicester City, Notts County and Reading.
