Broadhead began his career with Everton, making one Premier League appearance between loan spells at Burton Albion, Sunderland and Wigan.
The Wales striker found a home with Ipswich in 2022, scoring eight goals as the Suffolk side won promotion to the Championship.
Broadhead then helped fire the club back to the Premier League with 13 goals the following season.
He also made an impact on the international stage, scoring a dramatic last-minute equaliser on his debut away to Croatia.
He also scored at what could be his new home, the Stok Racecourse, for Wales in a friendly against Gibraltar.
Broadhead would be Wrexham’s seventh signing of the summer, following Danny Ward, Ryan Hardie, Liberato Cacace, George Tomason, Josh Windass and O’Brien’s moves to north Wales.
Having become the first team to win three consecutive promotions, Wrexham will begin their Championship season away to Southampton on 9 August.
