Relegated Premier League side Ipswich Town will face League Two Bromley for the first time in their history in round one of the Carabao Cup.
It is just the second time Bromley, who won promotion to the EFL just over a year ago, have appeared in the competition.
All three of the relegated Premier League sides have away trips in the first round, which takes place in the week commencing 11 August. Southampton go to Northampton, while Leicester City travel to Huddersfield.
Premier League teams not playing in Europe will join the competition in the second round, while clubs involved in Uefa competitions enter in round three.
There are four all-Championship first-round ties – Watford host Norwich City, Hull City travel to Wrexham, Birmingham City host beaten play-off finalists Sheffield United, while West Bromwich Albion take on Derby County at The Hawthorns.
The tournament has introduced a preliminary round that will be played in the week after the start of the League Two season.
The four lowest-ranked sides are playing an extra game to accommodate the increased number of Premier League clubs with European commitments.
Nine top-flight sides are set to participate in Europe in the 2025-26 season, prompting the change to help reduce the number of teams in the first two rounds.
