League One strugglers Wycombe Wanderers have sacked head coach Mike Dodds.
The 39-year-old oversaw five defeats and just one win from eight league games so far this season.
Wycombe had been second in the table when former Sunderland coach Dodds replaced Matt Bloomfield, after he left Adams Park for the Luton Town job in January.
He managed to take the Chairboys to the League One play-off last season, with a fifth-placed finish, but were overcome 1-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals by Charlton Athletic – who would go on to seal promotion.
In his seven months in charge, Dodds led Wycombe to only nine wins in 31 games across all competitions.
